Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 USB Semi-Automatic Defibrillator [Metronome-Hands Only CPR]

The Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 USB Semi-Automatic defibrillator is the replacement unit for the CR+ Semi-Automatic unit. The LIFEPAK CR2 USB is one of the fastest defibrillator units on the market to analyse the patient and be 'shock-ready'. The CR2 USB is packed with features such as pictoral and vocal instructions for the operator, and CPR coaching and metronome not to mention the 17 second 'shock ready' speed and 4 year battery and pad life. The CR2 USB also features one of the highest charges on the market, 360 Joules, allowing the unit to deliver a more powerful and effective shock when required.

The LIFEPAK CR2 USB defibrillator is supplied with pre-connected four year electrodes, operating instructions, battery, handle and a USB cable.

The LIFEPAK CR2 USB semi-automatic device is designed for the shock button to be pressed in order to deliver a shock to the patient. The LIFEPAK CR2 USB is intended for use by persons who have been trained in CPR and may have been trained in the use of an AED. This device does not feature manual override.

The LIFEPAK CR2 USB guides the operator through the procedures with a combination of voice and visual prompts and flashing LEDs. The device provides visual prompts for placement of the QUIK-STEP„¢ side-by-side electrodes. The electrodes are colour-coded, which also help with relative pad placement as shown on the pictures. The LIFEPAK CR2 USB electrodes can be placed on either side of the chest. The LIFEPAK CR2 USB prompts the operator to perform CPR for a defined time period, which can be preconfigured to 60, 120 or 180 seconds.

The device features a Child Mode Button and when the operator pushes the Child Mode button, the device will provide the energy delivery and CPR guidance set for a pediatric patient. A pediatric attenuator is not required. The same electrodes are used for both adult and pediatric patients.
